Problem on network message

Everytime I open my laptop and login lately, I have a pop up stating “1 problem on network”. The issue it is bringing up is saying I have a weak wifi password but I do not want to change it and I cannot find a way to ignore this message so it doesnt pop up anymore. Any suggestions?

As a side note, I already have my pop up notifications set to Silent but this one continues to pop up.

The network shield hav been a bit of a pain in the backside since 25.2.xxxx update.
Where is it saying it has a weak password, as I have seen this in another topic worth checking if it is related to your issue.

I don’t know if this is related as the network shield was always opening when checking a new connection.

It shows to come from Network Inspector and is a pop up that comes up when i open my laptop almost everytime. it gives me the button to “fix now” but no other option to ignore. This just started happening recently over the past week.

Have you checked out the link I gave to another topic in my reply ?

If not that should be your next port of call.

It has other links:

Yes, this looks like the same issue. However, I dont plan to change my password. hoping this issue gets fixed.

No one is saying you have to change your password, it rather depends on what it for and the security implications. Someone accesing your system because of that weak password.

I don’t think the Weak WiFi password notification would ever go away on what is a security based application.

I was just pointing out that i don’t plan to change my password in order to get rid of the notification that keeps coming up. Its just a new notification that recently started in the past week. Hoping there is a way to ask to ignore it, or or an update in the app so its not something that always comes up in the future. I have used avast for many years and this is just a new one that has become annoying pop up at this point.

Which is why I referred you to the other related topics to change the settings.

Better late than never - all I have to do is reset my custom Network Inspector settings.

If only I can remember them, having failed to document my changes in my anger.
